Addressing mid-gaps in metal sheet folding, we present a straightforward solution that requires no dedicated molds. By adjusting the pointed angle of the mold to exceed 90 degrees and inserting a 1.5mm sheet metal during the unfolding stage, we effectively bridge mid-gaps. Practical implementation recommends the use of thinner sheets, such as 1.4mm, with multiple trial runs for optimal results.

Fold Techniques for Tail Arcs

Two approaches exist for folding tail arcs without resorting to additional molds:

1. Adjust the sheet metal flange expansion constant, reducing the bending pressure and preventing the tail arc from unfolding. This is necessary as flattening the tail requires considerable pressure.

2. Alternatively, identifying a corresponding welding wire, inserting it into the hole, extracting it after flattening, and completing the decorative process.
